How do I edit a Wi-Fi safe place?

Edit the name

You don’t need to be next to your FitBark GPS or within the Wi-Fi Network.

Tap the Edit icon on the right. Tap on the name of the safe place. You can now edit the name. Tap Save when you are done changing the name.

Edit the address

You don’t need to be next to your FitBark GPS or within the Wi-Fi Network. Tap the Edit icon on the right. Tap on the address of the safe place. You can now edit the address.

If you press Enter/Go on the keyboard, the map will move to the desired address. To change only the way the address is displayed, edit the address, close the keyboard, and press Save.

Edit the Wi-Fi Network

You need:

  • your pup’s FitBark GPS
  • the name of the Wi-Fi network and to be connected to it with your phone
  • the Wi-Fi’s password

Tap the Edit icon on the right. Press for Search networks. Tap the new network name. Insert password for the new network and press Save.

Add the pet associated to the safe place

You don’t need to be next to your FitBark GPS or within the Wi-Fi Network. In the Safe place page, press the + icon to add the dog to the safe place. You can have up to 10 safe places per FitBark GPS.

To make sure the changes are in effect, you would need to sync with the FitBark GPS after the changes are saved since the FitBark GPS internal configuration will be updated the next time you’ll sync the FitBark GPS with your phone.

Remove the pet associated to the safe place

The configuration of the device will be removed in the following sync.

You don’t need to be next to your FitBark GPS or within the Wi-Fi Network. In the Safe place page, press the grey icon to remove a dog from the safe place. Make sure that each dog profile will still have at least one safe place, if not the app will trigger an error.
